São Paulo, May 11th, 2022 - eProfessionalTI, a software developer for the management of empty container terminals, has entered into another commercial agreement. This time with Delta Terminals. The company is one of the largest empty container terminals for leasing and shipowners of Mercosur, and decided to bet on innovation and higher performance to handle more volume of entry and exit of storage units, surveys and repairs, maximizing productivity with a low cost operation and high efficiency.
According to Luiz Carlos dos Santos, Project Development director at eProfessionalTI, as the company expands its customer base throughout South America with this agreement, it is an opportunity to also optimize terminal operating systems in all regions of Brazil. "The company operates in strategic ports, and the optimization of its processes may bring a huge productivity profit in the logistics sector," he said.
Solutions that bring more efficiency to terminal operations, such as gate services, survey and repairs, are offered by eProfessionalTI's SISTER system. "Implementing the solution means providing more complete support for managing produced data, including in real time. This information may be collected through mobile applications, processed and provided on web platforms. Another point that deserves to be highlighted is the automation of surveys, structure repair workshop, PTI services (reefers containers) with the use of mobile applications with productivity indicators for decision making", highlights Luiz.
For Roberto Dantas, founder of Delta Terminals, the partnership with eProfessional will bring benefits to several companies that use Delta terminals to store their marine items. "Today we have some partners in the leasing market, such as MAERSK itself, MSC TRITON, FLORENS, CARU and TEXTAINER and other references in the area. The platform that will be implemented in the coming months will increase productivity in repairs and even in container leasing while significantly reducing costs," he points out.
Delta Terminais is a reference in repair and container inspection solutions, with specialized professionals, while offering speed in the operations of delivery and receiving of the units. The company has a terminal of 70,000 m², with capacity for 10,000 TEUS, 50 outlets for refrigerated containers, 05 forklifts, 03 covered workshops with a total of 1700m² and a discovery workshop with 600m², in addition to 02 washers with capacity to hold 38 containers simultaneously.
The founder also reveals that Delta creates innovative projects for the recycling of containers that will no longer be used in maritime activities. "In addition to the leasing or repair of the units, we have developed special projects for the modification of containers according to the needs of each client, transforming them into an office, restaurant or wherever the imagination can take us", he concludes.
